ASZK - Monkey Friend

During the last two months I have completed a cover and ten illustrations for an upcoming children’s book. The book is being created for the 18th birthday of the story’s author, a girl name Lili, who wrote the story when she was ten.

This is the 4th illustration, Andi found a monkey friend who helps her build a refuge from branches and the parachutes they jumped with.

I love how the neon-like sunlight contrasting with the blue ocean makes the image pop! Used refs to find this awesome color combination.
This illustration traveled through Europe! I finished it during my skiing trip in France. :D
