ASZK - Crashlanding

During the last two months I have completed a cover and ten illustrations for an upcoming children’s book. The book is being created for the 18th birthday of the story’s author, a girl name Lili, who wrote the story when she was ten.

This is the 2nd illustration, our heroes are jumping out of the crashing plane, seemingly to their deaths.

I had to look up many skydiving references for this one! I love how their expressions turned out, especially of the dude in the middle. I love how his character is just constantly drunk/high so he usually doesn't really give a damn about what's happening around him.
