ASZK - Spy Kids

During the last two months I have completed a cover and ten illustrations for an upcoming children’s book. The book is being created for the 18th birthday of the story’s author, a girl name Lili, who wrote the story when she was ten.

This is the 1st illustration; our story starts with the heroine hiding inside a parked car spying on somebody when the car's owners return. She must stay hidden to find out whether or not the two strange men are criminals.

I had loads of fun with this one! I decided that the girl’s expression should stay simplified 'cause it's just... cute. Yes, there are exactly 5 slices of bread. That's very important to the story. Haven’t done street perspectives in a while, so it was fun! Used a 3D model to help with the car.
