ASZK - Oh Come On!

During the last two months I have completed a cover and ten illustrations for an upcoming children’s book. The book is being created for the 18th birthday of the story’s author, a girl name Lili, who wrote the story when she was ten.

This is the last illustration out of the ten; after leaving to finally go back home, the children are once again swept up in an adventure when the ship's captain announces that they are sinking... right next to the ominous island they just escaped.
Potential for a sequel ;) in case the author wants to continue the story.

I’ve never painted anything with dusk before! I love the mood that the early evening lights give to the scene! :)
