ASZK - Whale Submarine

During the last two months I have completed a cover and ten illustrations for an upcoming children’s book. The book is being created for the 18th birthday of the story’s author, a girl name Lili, who wrote the story when she was ten.

This is the 8th illustration; the kids have uncovered a moss-covered submarine that may be their way off the island. Now they just need to crawl inside and find a way to pilot it...

Man, I really love the mood of this image, it's so gloomy! And the girl’s idea of turning a whale into a submarine is really great. It was a super creative prompt to play with! :D
